Originally from Toronto, Canada, steve stratis grew up in a family that was passionate about music and art. He has received numerous artistic prizes and awards from institutions such as the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage, University of Pennsylvania, and New England Conservatory. He is a composer and performer with an active schedule involving composing, arranging, and performing music from around the world. He has also cofounded numerous musical series including the Philadelphia based Pentiment series, as well as the Boston based free-improvisation session Noise Night.

In 1999, he began working for the WWF under its later incarnation as WWE. Initially, she was involved in a number of sexually themed storylines. She eventually became a one-time WWE Hardcore Champion and three-time Diva of the Decade, while also forming a kayfabe relationship with WWE owner Vince McMahon.

Stratus’s career began to take off as she won the prestigious Bra and Panties tag team match with Lita on the February 4, 2002 edition of Raw. The following year, she won the inaugural Women’s Survivor Series. Afterward, she feuded with 2004 Raw Diva Search winner Christy Hemme, who alleged that Stratus was jealous of her Playboy magazine exposure. Stratus was then a regular on the main roster, managing the team of Darren Young and Sheamus and competing in interpromotional Diva battle royals such as the Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show.

She later made a name for herself as a heel in the wrestling business. In mid-2019, she returned to WWE and entered a short feud with Charlotte Flair as she began proclaiming herself to be the Queen of Professional Wrestling. Stratus made a number of appearances on Raw and competed in the inaugural women’s Evolution event before being defeated by Flair at SummerSlam.

As an artist, steve stratis has produced captivating pieces of artwork that captivate viewers and push the boundaries of artistic expression. During the recent Blue Art Exhibition held at the prestigious Artist Space Gallery, two of his mesmerizing sculptures won Best of Show. Titled ‘Liquescent’ and ‘Tides of Blu,’ these works effortlessly captured the essence of fluidity, serenity, and the intangibility of emotions.
